Is the Religion Islam Promote the Charity?

Is the Religion Islam Promote the Charity

In Islam, there is also a concept of the charity and Muslims knew as the name of Zakat. The zakat is the 4th pillar of Islam and it emphasizes on the charity. The concept of charity is 1400 years old when the Holy Prophet (PBUH) became the Last Messenger of Allah. We can help the people through food, money, goods etc. because Allah doesn’t give the same opportunities to their servant. He Knows what is better for us and what is best for the best things. The concept of charity come from sacred lands of Makkah and Madinah where every year millions of Muslims move towards there with cheap umrah travels consultants 2019 for a family with Visa, flight and Transportation.

The charity is the best way to maintain the balance of society because we can share our blessings with those who are less privileged. Islam is the religion of harmony and the biggest follower of the charity. Who has extra money or other things, Zakat is obligatory on it. The Holy Prophet (PBUH) said that,

“The follower’s shade on the Day of Judgment will be his charity.” (Al-Tirmidhi, Hadith 604)

Types of Charity in Islam

There are two types of charity in the religion of Islam,

• Obligatory (Zakat)

• Voluntary (Sadqah)

zakatObligatory (Zakat)

To fulfill your Zakat obligation on time and Allah will purify your wealth and increase your growth. Allah never gives the burden to their people, therefore, only one time in the year Allah ordered the Muslims to pay Zakat in the month of Ramzan. The calculation of Zakat is a very sensitive matter and discuss it with Ulemah and then pay it. According to Quranic Verse,

“They ask you, [O Prophet], what they should spend. Say, whatever you spend of good is for parents and families and children and the deprived and the itinerant. And whatever you do of good – definitely, Allah is Knowing of it.” (Quran 2:215)

Voluntary (Sadqah)

The other factor is Sadqah which is not obligatory to the person. But, if you want, troubles and difficulties have stayed away from you then must give Sadqah to a needy person. Even you can give Sadqah to the animals like keeps a bowl of water and some food for the birds near your house etc. Allah Says in the Quran e Pak,

“Who spend [for the sake of Allah] during comfort and adversity and who lock up anger and who forgive the people – and Allah loves the go-getters of good.” (Quran 3:134)

Allah’s Prophet Said that,

“Give charity without postponement, for it stands in the way of mishap.” (Al-Tirmidhi)

So, must perform your obligatory and if you can afford more then, pay Sadqah as well for the sake of Allah. We can take an example like this Umrah is not obligatory but Hajj is obligatory for those who are physically and financially fit. Must perform Umrah with Last 10 Days Ramadan Umrah Packages 2019 with best dates if you are monetarily strong.
